In Good Company
Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK, Reagan...what did all of these men have in common? A strong belief in God, and a willingness to pray for His guidance when it came to matters of state, and no sense of shame in invoking God's name and asking for His blessing on this country and her efforts at home and abroad.
It's clear that these traits are shared by Gov. Sarah Palin as well, and despite the clear desire by Charlie Gibson to make her feel shame for her past statements (which included a major omission that distorted her words), Palin doesn't bat an eye:
Shameful performance by Gibson. But it's clear if you watch the full context of Palin's statement that she is in good company indeed in her prayers.
UPDATE: More here on the media's double-standard with Palin, including some of the softball questions Gibson asked Obama during his interview 3 months ago, as well as John Edwards in 2004. Pathetic.
